Participants who have been homeless in the past year are:
- 2 times more likely to be Black or African American
- 3 times more likely to be living below the poverty level
- 4 times more likely to have engaged in sex work in the last year
- 5 times more likely to be unemployed, doing undocumented work or sex work as compared to full time work
- 10 times more likely to experience stigma in some form than those who are not homeless
- Respondents who were homeless in the past 12 months tended to have higher mental distress and were less likely to have used hormones for gender affirmation.
