Serves ALL parishes but is located in New Orleans. 24 Hour Crisis Line for shelter/resources 504-866-9554 – Comprehensive free one-stop center for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and their children. Shelter has private rooms/studios for survivors and their families actively fleeing violence. All services provided in both English and Spanish or will secure interpretation. Services include: Trauma counseling and groups, wellness supports, temporary safe space/shelter, legal consult, restraining orders, custody, housing consult, case management, and social and health care services. Hospital medical advocacy for survivors, HOPE Clinic partners with the NOFJC to provide forensic exams and medical care to survivors who don?t feel comfortable going to a hospital. Counseling often has a two month waitlist but if a person is in a lethal, dangerous position, can be moved up and seen more immediately.
